A pair of freshmen received the highest ratings boost for the Miami Hurricanes in the latest roster update for EA Sports College Football 25.
A total of 16 Hurricanes saw their overall ratings increase while two players saw their ratings decrease in Wednesday’s update.
Freshman cornerback OJ Frederique, who was not on the initial roster when the game released in July, has received an overall rating of 79, which is a 12-point increase than when he debuted on the game as a 67 shortly before the season. The 12-point increase puts him in the top-50 risers among the over 1,600 players who received ratings updates.
Freshman running back Jordan Lyle, who was also not on the roster before debuting at a 74 has increased seven points to an 81 overall.

Other Hurricanes who saw their overall ratings increase include linebacker Francisco Mauigoa (87 current overall rating, +3 rating update increase), defensive tackle Simeon Barrow (85, +1), safety Mishael Powell (84, +2), cornerback Jadais Richard (83, +4), defensive tackle C.J. Clark (81, +3), defensive tackle Akheem Mesidor (81, +2), safety Markeith Williams (79, +3), linebacker Jaylin Alderman (79, +2), offensive lineman Ryan Rodriguez (78, +3), linebacker Raul Aguirre (78, +2), offensive lineman Matthew McCoy (76, +2), defensive tackle Ahmad Moten (76, +2) and wide receiver Ray Ray
